A letter from our founders
Hi! My name is Yuxin (pronounced yoo-shin) and I’m one of the co-founders of Replo.
Replo started long before Replo. We have been friends since our freshman year at Berkeley, where we designed and built a course scheduling system to replace the university’s age-old telephone-based system, Telebears. We ended up selling it to the university when we graduated in 2015.
After college, I joined Uber, where I became a senior staff engineer and one of the youngest engineering leaders at the company. I helped lead Uber through its 2019 IPO and launched new financial and commerce products around the world, including Uber Eats, Uber Delivery, and microlending for partners. While there, I also built a substantial ecommerce business with my roommate at the time, which first brought me into the direct-to-consumer space.
Noah was previously a principal engineer at PlanGrid (YC W12), where he led iOS development before Autodesk acquired the company in 2020.
More than a decade later, Noah and I have come back together to build the company we had always wanted to work at.
We are not trying to build the biggest team. We are trying to build a small, tight-knit team where ambitious people can do the best work of their lives, where everyone trusts each other, and where there are no layers between spotting a problem and solving it. In short, we are building an exceptional team that’s committed to winning.
If that sounds like you, let’s chat.
