Replo vs Shopify Sidekick: answers vs reports that arrive

The short answer

Keep Sidekick for your Shopify store: it comes with your plan, answers from your sales, products and customers, builds reports and Flow automations, and drafts store edits. Add Replo when you want the report in your inbox every morning without asking, with your pages, ads, search and competitors beside sales.

Who each one is for

Best for running your Shopify store

Shopify Sidekick

Answers store questions, builds reports and automations, and drafts edits for your review.

Where it loses: sees only Shopify, and reports wait for you to open the admin.

Best for reports across every tool

Replo

Reads sales, pages, ads and search together and emails the report on a schedule.

Where it loses: no order- or customer-level Shopify reports, and it can't change your store's settings.

What Replo reports today, and doesn't

It answers from the data you connect. Here's what that covers, and what it doesn't yet.

Reports today

  • Sales on your Replo pages, and Shopify sales totals
  • Visits, add-to-carts and sources on every Replo page
  • Ad spend and ROAS by ad
  • Search clicks, rankings and pages near page one
  • Competitors' newest Meta ads

Doesn't report yet

  • Order-, product- and customer-level Shopify reports
  • Profit with your cost of goods
  • Delivery to Slack or Google Sheets
  • Emails to people outside your workspace

Where Replo fits

The morning report, without asking

Pick a report, set the day and time. Replo runs it and emails your team the answer.

  • Daily sales and ad spend
  • Search performance every Tuesday
  • Competitor ad digest every Monday
  • Page visits and conversion weekly

Frequently asked questions

Is Shopify Sidekick free?
Yes, it comes with Shopify's plans at no extra cost, though its features and usage limits vary by plan. Generating custom apps, for example, needs Basic or higher. You need a Shopify store to use it.
Can Sidekick send me a daily report?
Not on its own. Sidekick answers when you ask, and it can build a Shopify Flow workflow with a schedule that sends an email, which you review and turn on. Replo schedules the report itself and emails it to your team.
Does Replo replace Sidekick?
No. Keep Sidekick for order detail and store changes inside Shopify. Replo adds what Sidekick doesn't see, like your ads, search, pages off Shopify and competitors, and sends the report without anyone logging in.
What does Replo need to send a report?
The tools the report reads. A competitor ad digest needs nothing; a sales report needs Shopify; an ad report needs Meta Ads or Triple Whale. Connect each tool once, pick the schedule, and add the teammates who should get it.

We read every price from the vendor's own pricing page and recheck them. Spot one that changed? Send us a correction.
