Track competitor pages weekly and hear only what changed.

Overview

Everyone checks competitor sites the same way: intensely, once, then never again, and the offer you benchmarked in June quietly changes in August. This workflow keeps the watch standing: every week the agent snapshots the pages you name, diffs them against last week, and reports only what changed. Quiet weeks cost you one line; big moves come with a read on whether your pages should answer. Pick a handful of pages that matter, not whole sites.

Before you start

  • The competitor page URLs you want watched. Two or three is the right start.

The prompt

Paste this into the agent. The bold values are yours to change:

Every [Monday], check these competitor pages: [URLs].

Compare each against last week's snapshot and report only what changed: offers and their math, prices, sections added or removed, claims, and anything new in their tech stack.

When nothing changed, say so in one line. When something significant changes, like [a new bundle offer], tell me what it likely means and whether my pages should answer it.

What the agent does

  1. Snapshots each watched page on schedule.
  2. Diffs against the previous snapshot: offers, prices, sections, claims, stack.
  3. Reports changes only, so quiet weeks stay quiet.
  4. Escalates significant moves with a plain-words read and a recommendation.
  5. Keeps the history, so you can see a competitor's strategy move across weeks.
