The Challenge: Building And Testing Compliant Pages Fast Without Engineers

As a CBD company, Feals faces strict advertising restrictions on platforms like Meta. Simply driving ad traffic to their main site is not enough; every landing page needs to be compliant with platform-specific rules around what can and can't be said about their products.

With a lean team consisting of just a Product Designer and a Head of Product—no engineers—the ability to move fast without code was non-negotiable.

Before Replo and Shopify, Feals used Contentful. Since migrating to Shopify, however, the brand needed a solid solution for page building and testing. They experimented with PageFly and even built pages directly in the Shopify editor, but neither offered the design flexibility, ease of use, or speed they needed.

Hannah Mejia, Product Designer at Feals, was introduced to Replo by their CEO, who heard about the tool through other founders. At his suggestion, Hannah explored the tool, including its easy-to-use page editor and the vast collection of templates offered in its Templates Library.

She hasn’t looked back since.

"We tried other page builders... wasn't great. Drew, our CEO, heard of Replo through other founders who have used it and he suggested it to me. I checked it out and that was it."

The Solution: Systematic A/B Testing To Drive Growth With Listicle Funnels

With Replo, Feals built a testing-first approach to their paid advertising funnels.

As a brand with a more limited product line, the goal was to position each product as a solution for problems like stress relief, sleep, and alcohol replacement, and creating targeted content angles for each product.

"I would definitely recommend Replo. It makes it really easy to quickly build a page. Also, the templates are really useful too. I look at them often to just get inspiration... I have no complaints at all. It works so seamlessly, never really has any bugs or anything like that."

—Hannah Mejia, Product Designer @ Feals

The breakthrough came last year when Hannah read about listicles in the Replo newsletter and decided to test the format as a landing page. The listicles were built in Replo, scrubbed of all non-Meta ad compliant content, and set up as an intermediary for ad traffic.

Not only did the page educate shoppers on the product, it also served to address hesitations surrounding ingestibles before sending them to a landing page.

"I think the listicle did really well because it's helping customers feel more educated about the product, especially in the CBD industry, when customers are a bit more wary about ingestibles."

—Hannah Mejia, Product Designer @ Feals

The result? The team saw insane wins across all products and angles from the ad to listicle to landing page funnel, as opposed to driving ad traffic straight to a landing page.

Since then, the brand has used listicles for all paid ad funnels and has seen a CVR lift of 8-32% across a range of products and content angles.

Feals continues to apply listicles to their customer journeys and are constantly iterating for seasonal campaigns and product offers.

"Replo made it really easy to quickly spin up new pages… We test everything."

— Hannah Mejia, Product Designer @ Feals

For their early 2026 Dry January campaign, Feals spun up a Dry January listicle in Replo where all CTAs directed to a PDP. The results were astounding, leading to:

15% lift in CVR and 26% lift in RPV over 14 days and 34,000 visitors, compared to driving from a listicle to another landing page.

Perhaps the most insightful win came from testing subscription offers on landing pages receiving cold ad traffic. Common knowledge stated that first-time shoppers would not be interested in signing up for a longer term offer, and the team expected experiment results to support this line of thinking.

The A/B test was simple: the control was a page with “Buy 1” or “Buy 2 with a discount” offer, while a test variant designed in Replo had a “Buy 1” or “Subscribe and Save” offer. Contrary to the team’s expectations, however, the test variant yielded:

10% lift in one-time CVR and 38% lift in subscription CVR over a 21-day period, compared to the non-subscription offer LP.

As it turned out, what newcomers really needed to convert was clear and trustworthy messaging, something the variant page addressed with a well-designed subscription box. The buy box featured an easy-to-read list of offer benefits, including details such as “free shipping,” “free dosage consultation,” and “pause or cancel anytime,” all of which built the trust required for even first-time shoppers hit “subscribe.”

"I think the design of the buy box just made it super clear what you're getting. It just made it very easy to see two different options... We added bullet points under what you're getting under subscribe and save—easy to cancel—basically just building the trust."

—Hannah Mejia, Product Designer @ Feals

The Result: Continuous A/B Testing With Messaging Clarity To Drive CVR Using Replo

While common thinking about A/B testing has long been focused on making design-only edits, such as hero section imagery, button colors, and font styles, Hannah notes that months of rigorous testing has surprisingly revealed the opposite.

"Always, the number one thing that performs the best is when your hypothesis is about the messaging and clarity... Design is really great, but your copy, your messaging has to be super clear, transparent, and build trust."

— Hannah Mejia, Product Designer @ Feals

In fact, Feals has discovered that clear messaging consistently outperforms design-only changes. Whether it's the listicle funnel educating wary CBD customers or bullet points that address subscription concerns, the pattern is the same—clarity and transparency wins.

Today, listicles are the default framework for every new funnel Feals builds, and the team is excited to continually iterate and test new angles. Hannah also credits Replo's educational content and Templates Library as key sources of inspiration on what to try next as the brand grows.

"I always open Replo emails to get test ideas, such as the listicle-to-PDP funnel. Replo provides a lot of value and education."
