Product detail page
What is a PDP (product detail page)?
A PDP (product detail page) is the page for one product, with its photos, price, variants, details and add-to-cart button.
A real store example
Drift Wood Car Freshener page: over 850 Meta ads linked here.
The page explains the product in one paragraph: sustainably sourced alder wood, clean fragrance oils, a visor clip and up to 30 days of scent. Ads send shoppers straight here, so the product page does the whole job of selling.

What is a PDP in ecommerce?PDP questions
- What should a PDP include?
- Clear photos, the price, variants, a short benefit-led description, shipping and returns, reviews and one add-to-cart button that's visible on a phone without scrolling far. Everything else supports those.
- How do I know what to fix on a PDP?
- Watch what shoppers do. A heatmap shows which images and sections get attention and how far people scroll before they leave or add to cart.
