Product listing page
What is a PLP (product listing page)?
A PLP (product listing page) is a page that lists many products, such as a category, collection or search results page.
A real store example
Fashion Nova best sellers page: over 500 Meta ads linked here.
A best sellers listing lets a shopper from an ad browse the styles other people buy most. It works when the ad promises range rather than one item.
Put PLP to work
Ask Replo: "show which collection pages lead to the most orders".
PLP questions
- Is a PLP the same as a collection page?
- Yes, on Shopify. Shopify calls its product listing pages collections. Other platforms call them category pages. All three list several products with filters and links to each product page.
- Should ads send traffic to a PLP?
- Sometimes. A listing suits ads that promise range, such as new arrivals or a sale. For an ad about one product, a product or landing page usually converts better.
