What a checkout page is

A checkout page is where a buyer confirms what they're getting, enters payment details and places the order. It's the last step, so anything that slows it down or raises a doubt there loses a sale you already paid to bring in.

Most checkouts run on a payment provider such as Stripe, Shopify or PayPal, so card security and fraud checks are handled for you. Your job is everything around them: what the buyer sees, how much they type, and what happens after they pay.

What every checkout page needs

  • The item, its picture and its price
  • The full total before the pay button
  • Email first, and as few fields as possible
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • A payment provider buyers recognize
  • An order page and email after paying
  • Easy to finish one-handed on a phone

How to set up Replo checkout

  1. Ask Replo to create the product: a name, what the buyer gets, a price in USD and an image.
  2. Turn on email delivery so each buyer gets their file, link or access code when they pay.
  3. Finish Stripe Express setup: your bank details and an identity check, a few minutes.
  4. Ask Replo to add the product to your pages. Every buy button opens checkout on your site.
  5. After paying, buyers land on an order page and get your store's confirmation email.

Frequently asked questions

What is a checkout page?
A checkout page is where a buyer reviews the order, enters payment details and pays. A good one shows the full total up front, asks for little, accepts wallets like Apple Pay, and confirms the order by page and email.
Does Replo have its own checkout?
Yes. Replo checkout runs on Stripe and opens on your own site, for digital products and simple items at one-time prices in USD. Replo sets up a Stripe Express account for you, and payouts go to your bank.
Can Replo checkout sell sizes, colors or subscriptions?
No. Replo checkout takes one-time payments for products without variants. For sizes, colors, subscriptions or a large catalog, connect Shopify and every buy button uses your Shopify cart and checkout instead.
What does a buyer get after paying?
An order page they can bookmark and a confirmation email from your store. With email delivery on, they also get their file, link or access code the moment payment clears. Refunds go through your Stripe dashboard.
What does Replo checkout cost?
Replo takes no cut of your sales. You pay Stripe's standard fee, 2.9% + 30¢ per successful US card charge, plus your Replo plan. The Free plan lets you build and publish on a replosites.com address.

Add checkout to your site

Fill in the brackets and send it. Replo creates the product and puts checkout behind every buy button.

Your first message

Create a product called [product name] at [price] in USD. It's a [PDF, template or course] and buyers should get [the file or link] by email. Then add a Buy now button for it to my homepage and build a product page for it.
