Klaviyo alternatives, priced at the same list size
The short answer
Klaviyo's Email plan is $30 a month at 1,000 contacts, $100 a month at 5,000 and $150 a month at 10,000. On Shopify, Shopify Messaging is cheapest. Off it, Omnisend's Standard plan is $81 a month at 5,000. Mailchimp beats Klaviyo only past 5,000 contacts.
How we ranked
Ordered by the monthly price at 5,000 contacts, each emailed about 10 times a month, on the cheapest plan that runs automated flows like an abandoned cart series with no cap on steps, billed monthly. Ties go to the lower price at 10,000.
Prices come from each app's own pricing page, at list price; most cut 10–30% for yearly or upfront billing. Apps priced by emails sent are priced at 50,000 emails. Shopify Messaging is on top of your Shopify plan. We didn't score deliverability, which every vendor reports about itself.

List prices from each app's own pricing page, billed monthly, at about 10 emails per contact a month. We recheck them every month.

Four apps cost less than Klaviyo at 5,000 contacts. Attentive quotes only, so it isn't charted.

The right app for each store
Pick by where you sell, how big your list is and how often you send.
Best for a first store on Shopify
Shopify Messaging
Sends from your Shopify admin, and the first 10,000 emails each month are free.
Where it loses: it works for Shopify stores only, and you pay for every email past 10,000.
Best for Klaviyo's flows for less
Omnisend
Store flows, web push and 24/7 support, for less than Klaviyo at every size here.
Where it loses: SMS needs the Pro plan, and Omnisend says Klaviyo's Shopify sync goes deeper.
Best for emailing often at one price
Drip
One plan priced by list size, with unlimited sends and every feature included.
Where it loses: there's no free plan, and the smallest plan is $39 for up to 2,500 people.
Best for a big list you email rarely
Brevo
Charges for emails sent, so a large list that hears from you monthly stays cheap.
Where it loses: the bill grows with every send, and flows and A/B tests start on Standard.
Best for a newsletter and a store
Mailchimp
Up to 200 flows and 24/7 chat, for less than Klaviyo at 10,000 contacts.
Where it loses: unsubscribed contacts count toward your limit, and Essentials caps a flow at 4 steps.
Best for deep store data and big lists
Klaviyo
Flows and segments built on store orders, on 84 of the top 100 Meta advertisers.
Where it loses: it costs more than most here past 5,000 contacts, and SMS is an add-on.
Best for large lists with many old profiles
Sendlane
Unlimited profiles, so old subscribers you keep cost nothing until you email them.
Where it loses: the smallest plan is $100 for 50,000 emails, so a small list overpays.
Best for text messages at scale
Attentive
Text marketing at scale, on 19 of the 100 brands that run the most Meta ads.
Where it loses: it lists no prices, so you can't compare it until sales quotes you.
Where Replo fits
Keep your sender, build what it links to
Whichever app sends your email, Replo builds the page each campaign links to, on your brand. With Klaviyo connected, it writes the email too and saves it as a draft.
- A page for each campaign
- Email drafts saved in Klaviyo
- Klaviyo signup forms on your site
- Sending stays in your email app

Connect Klaviyo in Replo, then ask it to write a campaign and build the page it links to.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the cheapest Klaviyo alternative?
- For a Shopify store, Shopify Messaging: the first 10,000 emails a month are free, so 5,000 contacts emailed 10 times a month cost $40 a month. Off Shopify, Omnisend's Standard plan is $81 a month at 5,000 contacts, against Klaviyo's $100 a month.
- How much does Klaviyo cost?
- Klaviyo is free up to 250 active profiles. The Email plan is $30 a month at 1,000 active profiles, $100 a month at 5,000 and $150 a month at 10,000, billed monthly, with 10 emails per profile. Klaviyo counts anyone you can market to; SMS is an add-on.
- What is the best Klaviyo alternative?
- It depends on the store. Omnisend is closest to Klaviyo for less. Shopify Messaging is cheapest for a new Shopify store. Drip suits stores that email often, Brevo a big list emailed rarely, and Attentive text messages at scale. See Mailchimp vs Klaviyo and Omnisend vs Klaviyo.
- What do I lose when I leave Klaviyo?
- Your flows and event history. Klaviyo exports profiles with their consent and templates as HTML, but flows are rebuilt by hand. Rebuild cart, welcome and post-purchase first, set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the new app, and import your suppression list before anyone else.
- Is Replo a Klaviyo alternative?
- No. Replo doesn't send email. It builds the page each campaign links to, adds Klaviyo signup forms to your site, and with Klaviyo connected writes emails and saves them as drafts for you to send. It works next to whichever app you pick.
- Why do most big brands still use Klaviyo?
- Klaviyo runs on 84 of the 100 brands that run the most Meta ads, in our ranking of the email and SMS apps top brands run. Past 10,000 contacts the bill matters less than its store data, segments and flows, which is why it ranks low here on price.
