What a Cash App payment link is

A Cash App payment link is a request for money you can send anywhere: a text, an email, a social post or a group chat. Tapping it opens a filled-in payment in Cash App.

Cash App built it for paying friends and family, and Cash App for Business accounts can use it too. It asks for an amount; it doesn't show a product, take shipping details or sell to someone who doesn't use Cash App.

How to make a Cash App payment link

  1. Open the Pay tab in Cash App and start a request.
  2. Instead of adding a recipient, choose Share link.
  3. Send the link by text, email or social. It opens a filled-in payment in Cash App.
  4. To sell to people who don't use Cash App, use a Stripe, PayPal or Square link behind a sales page.
Replo docs: ask Replo to create the product with the prompt 'Use this Stripe Payment Link as its external checkout', and Replo points its Buy Now button at your Stripe checkout

Paste the Stripe link into Replo's chat, and every Buy Now button on the page opens it.

What Cash App can't do for a sale

  • Built for people you know
  • Opens a payment in Cash App
  • Asks for an amount, not a product
  • No automatic repeat charges
  • Business fee isn't published

When a link alone isn't enough

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a Cash App payment link?
Open the Pay tab, start a request as usual, and choose Share link instead of adding a recipient. Cash App makes a link you can send by text, email or social, and it opens a filled-in payment in Cash App.
Does a Cash App payment link cost anything?
Cash App doesn't publish a rate for business accounts. Its terms say the fee is shown when you open, use or switch to a Cash App for Business account. Check it in the app before you price anything.
Can I use a Cash App payment link to sell to customers?
It works best with people you know. The link asks for an amount and opens in Cash App, so buyers who don't use it are stuck. To sell to strangers, a Stripe payment link takes any card.
Can Replo make a Cash App payment link?
No. Replo builds the sales page and points every buy button at a checkout link you paste in. For selling, that's usually a Stripe, PayPal or Square payment link, so buyers can pay by card.
Where do these steps and fees come from?
From each company's own pages: Cash App: Cash App launches payment links, Cash App: Terms of Service. Fees change, so check them before you set a price.
